Bounte - Small Together
03:33
|
|||
loving fear from the mother holds you
loving arms of the father holds you
so small together, but just enough
so small enough to hold you back
your troubled past: questions contained in lies.
always so close but never known
why can't you figure out?
living grey:
you're dressed in white
your mood is black
can you take it back?
loving fear from the mother holds you
loving arms of the father holds you
so small together, but just enough
so small enough to hold you back
movements of change: gestures that seem to unwind.
fly golden wings up and away,
but not so high.
living safe:
it's all they gave
it's all you've got
can you give it back?
loving fear from the mother holds you
loving arms of the father holds you
so small together, but just enough
so small enough to hold you back

I've been sitting beside myself, another one of me in my place.
I been witnessing all this time the wrong messages on his face.
What he says are not quite lies, but he never say what he means.
And he surely don't speak for me; my words are bottled inside my mind.
Two of us in the rain, we get by with words
chasin all our memories with a bottle of pain.
When I try to break out of this place, another one of me in my way.
I push the fool off this road, he pushes everyone else the same.
He's out of control, out of his mind, while I'm over here self-contained.
(but) Could he somehow change my ways, if I just gave into what he says?
If I only could say without words, all of the poetry in my soul,
You would see all the wonderful colors, all the crimson, silver, blue, and gold.
Instead we’re soaking in a storm of righteous blame about some shade of gray.
Won't you let me be wrong for a while, so can live with myself again?

Bounte - Unborn
03:39
|
|||
as you take in this world, my child,
you're bound to lose your way.
the road just past, or tomorrow's,
lead to forever in your eyes.
mapping endless paths of sorrow
behind your hard-packed smile.
all the garbage you take into your soul,
well, it never comes back out.
in time you will grow older,
no wiser than you were.
the time you dwell in memory
is time away from life all told.
are you ready for this, unborn child?
no life, no death, no truth or lies,
you will take in more than you can see.
you will never wake, you'll never sleep,
you won't have any dreams.

Fight Nice - Katrinita

A beautiful storm blowin' across the room
The sun in the morning has nothing on you
Five hundred thousand days of rain,
The clouds would only break for your smile
It's like you're running on air
and it swept me away
oh yes you swept me away
the first second
I laid eyes on you
Katrinita
Katrinita
Katrinita
Katrinita
Won't you bring me home
You blow me away
Please take me home
You blow me away
Won't you bring me home
You blow me away
Please take me home
Katrinita
Exhilarated sighs as you flow though the crowd
A brush with your arm stays with me all night long
The power of nature unleashed in you
It's lightning when you look in my eyes
And then you set me on fire
and you burn to my soul
yes you burn to my soul
every moment
that I spend with you
